Everyday I am in a different part of the city standing on a streetcorner and stopping people. It's actually really pleasing. I like my job and if the days remain the same as the past couple I could see myself loving it. As for the Clean Water Action, we will see. I start on wednesday of next week. I'm learning alot and getting paid very very well for a non-profit. More than I was doing construction back east. I feel great about what I am doing. Thanks for the info though. I'll look into it. From what I've heard about it, it doesn't sound lucrative or all that pleasant. The Green Party is really big in California, with hundreds of people in some sort of elected office (which includes dog-catchers I reckon). There is a GP candidate for Mayor of Oakland (see link below). I don't know if they can pay anything or not, but I expect you may find the GP stuff more interesting and more likely to make an actual difference than the other groups. http://www.gp.org/greenpages/content/volume10/issue1/elections1.php Hopefully ringing doorbells for
